Editorial: The University of Amsterdam

The University of Amsterdam, established in 1632, is with it's 30.000 students one of the larger universities in Europe. Beside it's educational programme, it gained an excellent reputation in fundamental and socially relevant research. And is, as an organisation, among the largest employers of Amsterdam.

A small view of the university's daily practice, traditions and students, all shot for university weekly Folia.
